The course examines the research process from problem identification and setting through a review of pertinent literature as secondary sources and an examination of the descriptive survey research design. It provides a forum for the student to improve research and presentation skills through discussion and practical applications.

The aim of this course is to introduce students to the aspects of Hospitality and Tourism Marketing. With marketing skills, students can be able to appreciate the scope of marketing as an essential component in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry. As future managers, students can also appreciate the role of marketing as a management tool.
